Operational Equipment Data and Telemetry Data

StillWatt provides managed temporary electrical-power services using company-owned and company-controlled energy-storage, power-generation, distribution, monitoring, and related equipment (collectively, "Equipment"). To operate, secure, maintain, support, and improve our services, StillWatt may automatically collect, receive, generate, transmit, store, and analyze operational data from or relating to the Equipment ("Telemetry Data").

Categories of Telemetry Data

Telemetry Data may include Equipment identification numbers; device, controller, battery-management-system, inverter, charger, and communications-module status; electrical production, consumption, input, output, voltage, current, frequency, power, energy, demand, and load data; kilowatt-hour and kilowatt measurements; battery state of charge, state of health, temperature, alarms, fault codes, event logs, runtime, maintenance status, and diagnostic information; connection and communications status; configuration and firmware information; authorized receptacle, circuit, or load information; service and support records; and timestamps associated with these data.

Location and Site Information

Where enabled or necessary for Equipment delivery, recovery, security, service, or safety, Telemetry Data may include Equipment location, movement, geofencing, site address, and related location information. StillWatt does not use operational telemetry to market third-party products or services to individual end users.

Purposes of Processing

StillWatt uses Telemetry Data to provide and administer the service; measure and verify delivered electrical service; monitor capacity, demand, and operating limits; manage battery health and safety; detect faults, misuse, tampering, theft, unauthorized movement, unsafe conditions, and cybersecurity events; provide remote diagnostics and support; dispatch maintenance, emergency, delivery, and recovery personnel; investigate incidents, disputes, and suspected violations; meet legal, safety, insurance, warranty, audit, and recordkeeping obligations; develop aggregated or deidentified operational analytics; and improve the reliability, performance, design, and security of our Equipment and services.

No Expectation of Privacy in Equipment Operations

Equipment is continuously monitored and remains under StillWatt's technical control. Customers should not use the Equipment for any activity that requires privacy from operational monitoring. Telemetry Data concerns Equipment performance and service delivery; it is not intended to capture the content of a customer's communications or files.

Disclosure of Telemetry Data

StillWatt may disclose Telemetry Data to service providers and contractors that support communications, cloud hosting, monitoring, maintenance, repair, cybersecurity, insurance, billing, legal, and emergency-response functions; to utilities or site representatives when reasonably necessary to provide or safely coordinate service; to governmental authorities or other parties when legally required or appropriate to protect persons, property, or rights; and to a successor in connection with a merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or similar transaction. StillWatt may also use and disclose aggregated or deidentified Telemetry Data for lawful business, operational, analytical, research, and product-development purposes.

Retention

StillWatt retains Telemetry Data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain safety and security, support equipment maintenance and warranty obligations, resolve disputes, comply with legal and insurance requirements, and preserve records needed for legitimate business purposes. StillWatt may retain aggregated or deidentified data for longer periods.

Supplemental Telemetry Policy

Additional details about our operational monitoring practices are available in the StillWatt Telemetry Policy, which is incorporated into this Privacy Policy by reference.
